Project Based Learning
PBL is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge. Click the link for more info: Steam_PBL brochure
Chapel: Chapel is weekly for 45 minutes. Sunnyvale Christian School students participate in worship of Jesus Christ and each class will lead chapel and perform a minimum of twice a year in front of the school.
Music & Drama: A Christmas Musical is put on every year by the elementary school students of Sunnyvale Christian School along with participation in our weekly Chapel.
Field Trips: All elementary school classes go on various field trips throughout the school year and parent participation is needed for many of the field trips. For their last year at Sunnyvale Christian School, our fifth grade students get to go on a week long trip to Science Camp.
Art in Action: Art in Action believes that a quality art education is critical for every student’s preparation for success in the 21st century, and actively assist schools in implementing a comprehensive, standards-based visual art program.
